UMOCA’s Fluid Art 2017

11-03-2017 to 11-03-2017 – Once again, UMOCA and the Utah Brewer’s Guild have teamed up to bring you Fluid Art, a twice-yearly event pairing Salt Lake City’s best craft beers with the most socially-conscious contemporary art in the state.

Inspire your palate with some of the best locally-made craft brews while simultaneously expanding your palette with the most culturally-relevant contemporary art on display in Utah. Each participating brewery chooses a unique artwork from UMOCA’s current exhibitions to pair with an equally unique beer. Sample 2oz. pours from eight Utah breweries and, once you find your favorites, enjoy two 8oz. pours of your new favorite brew for just $5 each. All tickets include 2oz. samples from each brewery.

Tickets to Fluid Art are $25 for UMOCA members (with promo code). $30 Early Bird tickets are available for the general public until October 13, then prices raise to $35 at until day the of the event. If the event is not sold-out, $40 tickets will be available at the door.

*Attendees must be 21+ with valid ID. No babes in arms. All patrons must have a ticket regardless of age.

10-31-2017 to 10-31-2017 – With roots at Vermont’s Castleton State University, Twiddle began their extensive touring career in 2005. Over a decade later, the foursome has composed an eclectic catalogue spanning three studio albums of originals, in addition to many live releases. Currently the band is digging in at the studio composing PLUMP Chapter Two, the second half of their acclaimed third album. Having performed at a multitude of international festivals, Twiddle’s trajectory shows zero sign of slowing.
