HEAL Utah Community Night: Getting Serious About PM2.5!

23 Jul

07-26-2017 to 07-26-2017 – It’s no exaggeration to state that air pollution has become the dominant environmental issue in Utah over the past few years, drawing attention in both the winter and summer. But despite growing public pressure, we still fail to meet federal health standards.

In the wake of serious pollution spikes surrounding the July 4th holiday, we see the need for progressive action now more than ever. Please join us for a Community Night about our state’s Serious State Implementation Plan for PM2.5 pollution. This will be a great opportunity to learn about the state’s process, ways to help HEAL and our allies make the plan more robust, and get info about some of the strategies that could help us all clear the air!

We need you to help HEAL demand bold action and leadership to help our state meet federal health standards NOW.

Please join us on Wednesday, July 26, at 6:30 pm, at the Marmalade Library.

For those of you who haven’t been, HEAL Community Nights are informal gatherings for our staff to brief our supporters about one of our core issues and include plenty of time for questions and discussion. We hope to see you there!
