Friday Night Flicks: Rogue One A Star Wars Story

06-23-2017 to 06-23-2017 – From Lucas film comes the first of the Star Wars standalone films, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, an all-new epic adventure. In a time of conflict, a group of unlikely heroes band together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire’s ultimate weapon of destruction. This key event in the Star Wars timeline brings together ordinary people who choose to do extraordinary things, and in doing so, become part of something greater than themselves.

Friday Night Flicks: The Karate Kid

06-23-2017 to 06-23-2017 – Free family-friendly movies at different SLC parks each week. They are shown on a large inflatable screen and popcorn is free while it lasts. Bring your blankets and chairs and enjoy a neighborhood party under the stars.

Plus, the Food Truck League will be at each movie and food will be available to purchase on site. Community booths will open at 8:00 pm and the movies will begin around 9:15 pm.

This is the Place Park Art Camp Session 1

06-19-2017 to 06-23-2017 – Join us as we take art to This is the Place Park and sketch pioneer-era architecture, gardens, and people in period costume. We will use several mediums, including: pencil, charcoal, pastel, watercolor, markers, and ink. This is a great time to learn new art techniques while spending time outdoors and learning about Utah’s history. You will need to come prepared with a water bottle, sunscreen (already applied), hat, and small folding chair.

For children ages 5-12.

Concert: Pepper Rose
